Top 5 new CRM Online features

1.User interface improvements - in this update, user adoption is easier than ever before. Recent records are displayed on the navigation for faster access, less scrolling and clicking is needed to navigate entities and UI themes have been introduced so you can brand your CRM or implement a default colour scheme.

2.Embedded OneNote - for those fans of Microsoft One Note, this will be a very welcome addition. For those who haven't used it before, contact us for a demonstration. You can use it to capture photos, take voice notes, even create free-form drawings, all linked automatically with CRM records.

3.Seamless mobile experience - the CRM for mobile app now provides the same intuitive business process-driven experience as CRM for tablets. The tiles on the navigation are designed to be optimised for touchscreen, so it is ideal for gestures such as swiping. Using CRM from a mobile or tablet is as familiar as being on a desktop. If you are on a Windows phone, you can even utilise Cortana voice commands to access CRM data hands-free.

4. Track emails from anywhere - this update offers a new Microsoft Dynamics CRM App for Outlook Preview to track incoming email, adding to the option already available of using the CRM add-in for Microsoft Outlook called 'Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook'. It means you can track incoming email to CRM records by the same process whether you're at your desk, or on the go.

5. Updates are in your hands - CRM Online users get access to new features as soon as they're released, which is on a bi-annual cycle.  This Spring update includes a new opt-in update model. You'll be able to schedule the specific date when your update occurs. Remember, on-premise users get both sets of the yearly updates in the second half of the year, so if it is important to your organisation to be making use of additional functionality and gaining competitive advantage quickly, it's another reason to have your deployment in the cloud.

If you'd like to know more, we are holding a free CRM in the Cloud event on 12th June.
