London, UK, 20th April 2020: We are pleased to announce another successful round of re-certifications for our important ISO standard, ISO/IEC 27001:2013.

The ISO/IEC 27000 family of standards provides the framework for organisations to manage the security of its information assets. Achieving this accreditation was a key focus for Core as the certificate demonstrates our commitment to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information we are privy to.

Brian Packer, Chief Operating Officer at Core, commented: “It’s important to us at Core that we retain our ISO accreditation so that our customers are reassured that we take our responsibilities as a managed IT services provider extremely seriously. I’m also delighted that we now have obtained the Cyber Essentials certification which, combined with ISO 27001, further strengthens our credibility and capability.

These are not just seen as badges within Core; we have invested considerable energy in embedding the best practices these frameworks offer into the culture of our business so that certification and accreditation become a by-product of the way we operate. Our team have done a fantastic job in ensuring that we have been certified and that the entire organisation is invested in our journey” concludes Packer.
