Core backs Hackney RFC’s next generation of girls in rugby

At Core, we believe strong communities are built by people who show up for each other — and that’s why we’re proud to sponsor the Hackney RFC U12 Girls Team.

Hackney RFC is a club with values that feel very close to our own: respect, community and inclusion. It’s a place where everyone is welcome, everyone has a role to play, and young people have the opportunity to grow through sport, friendship and being part of something bigger than themselves.

Supporting the U12 Girls Team is about more than putting our name on a shirt. It’s about helping give girls in Hackney the opportunity to discover rugby, build confidence and see that there is a place for them on the pitch. With women’s and girls’ rugby continuing to grow, grassroots clubs like Hackney RFC are helping shape the next generation.

We’re particularly excited to support Girls & Gladies Day on 11 October — a celebration of girls and women in rugby, featuring an U12 girls’ festival, bungee trampoline and a visit from the new Hackney Mayor. It promises to be a brilliant day for players, families and the wider community.

For us, this is what sponsorship should be about: supporting the community, creating opportunities and helping make the things we value stronger for everyone.
